    This just posted to my FB page. Anyone in the Charolette area today at about 0600 Friday AM see this please contact the police department.
    I surely hope and pray that the driver did not see the bike and kept on driving. I'm waiting to hear what the witness said.

    Thanks for the info. I live in Gaston County not far from US74 and I also ride a bike. This had to be a 'hit and run' unless the biker hit the back of the trailer while the truck was moving. Indian Trail is in Union County I believe; wondering if this was close to the Harris Teeter Distribution Center?

    Here's an update.

    The first report was wrong. The truck was parked when the motorcycle collided with it.

    Sucks that it happened, but the trucker will not be charged.
