Ok Kate, fell me in on how it's going with team running. My son and I are suppose to start orientation 7/18. Your avg. Miles? North east? What kind of truck do we want? What kind do we don't want? Any complaints? Just give me all the info you can. They are going to let me train my son also. What happen to td24? Anyone else want to chime in feel free to do so. I don't post on here too often but read when I can. Thanks

I have been here 7 yrs
made 23,000 less last year than the year before run team, when we lost
our decated run last year con way realy went dow hill, i have 2 restarts this week, avg of 5100 miles since first of the year. Teams t talk to say the same thing, i loved it here till we were solds out, equip good and well maintained solo say that running good working on my million miles here just don't think we can make it -
MD STEELERS FAN Thanks this.

We are getting great miles. 6200, 6300, 5800, 6900 were out last 4 weeks and the 5800 mile week we were in the shop 1 day getting something checked out.
We have done almost no NE, just up to the Con-Way Freight in Montgomery, NY and back out and a few loads into PA.
As far as trucks, most teams seem to like the internationals. They look pretty room from what I've seen. We have a T660 but it was a truck my bf got before we went team and we just aren't bothered to ask to be switched, don't like moving.
I really have no complaints, I rode here passenger for 2 years and loved it and I am loving driving here so far. -
I do like my International better than my KW I had. Internationals have way more storage than the KW, also they have a flat floor, no stepping down into the sleeper. My only complaint about this truck is the engine brake. It is not a true jake brake like the KW's have, oh yeah and the ten speed, I much preferred the 13 speed in my KW. Other than that I am very happy with my Prostar.

Looking at Conway and have a few questions.
I have graduated from a ptdi school so I assume I will just have to go through the boot camp at conway.
How long is the training time before they let you be complete solo?
What is the starting cpm fresh out of school?
Conway seems to have nice equipment with the sat radio etc. As a solo will I get a international or a kw or whatever is laying around when I finish?
Conway runs super singles on all of their trucks and soon to be trailers how do you guys like them?
