I usually count out 3 weeks and then put in for my 3 days and I don't always get home when I ask.....but that's not really been a problem for me.......but this time I HAVE to be home by the 23rd to get ready for my son's HS graduation.....so I put in for the 22nd and each morning I'm sending a little reminder message to my FM....LOL

I`ve been with a few diffrent companys. And I will say that so far USX has me happy for now. my driver manager needs to be changed but all in all its been good. Good miles. As far as the lease they are trying to get me to do it. Dont Do it you`ll make more money as a company driver with out the headach. Good Luck

They never bring me home when I want to.
I was not even home for my own move but 2500 miles away. They kept ignoring my hometime requests, no matter how early I told them, how often I reminded them, how nice I asked. Even when they promised to repower me when I pass through my home town, I waited 40 hours in the truck stop for a repower that never came and was sent back on the road to deliver at final.
At this point been out 13 weeks, with several attempts getting home, and was sent right back into opposite direction, I do not even try anymore. I gave up. -
Germangirl.....go above your dispatcher to his/her supervisor.....and then go further if you have to. There is no reason that you should be kept out that long.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
13 weeks .....wow

When I was with USX the longest I was out, was 3 weeks. And that was my choice. You must have $ised off your FM.
Ask for a new one. They have no excuse for you staying out that long.
Training only had me out less than 4 weeks for God sakes. -
You were lucky.
No I did not make anybody upset...you are wrong.
Did you know, that USX' most freight is in the NorthEast, so that is where they send most Newbies. Drivers with home basis in the SouthWest, like AZ, NM, often have problems getting HT because much freight East> West>East goes on the rail. Teams seem to run more East>West coast than Solo drivers in general. -
Is this true? I'm from Michigan, so maybe US Xpress could use a person in the area??? hehehe. My pre-hire letters seem to like North Catherine St more than South Catherine, and a few have gone missing. I hope USX is one of them, but I'm waiting on calling the recruiter until I have my DOT card in hand, I needed a waver.

I go Michigan quite a bit. Ask their recruiters if they have regional work in Michigan area.
