My hubby has been with them for a month now and so far really is happy with them. They are a small organization delivering for their own company (medical supplies). So they have a small fleet (less than 100), no satellites in the truck, so they are still paper logs for now. He's home every weekend, and gets to take his truck home (a nice Frieghtliner lease from Penske). The drivers that have been there, have been there for awhile. So, it looks promising. They give him a cell phone to communicate with him and rarely call him. They leave him alone and let him do his job! They aren't micromanaging him. He is happy. As for pay, they seem to be good. Not quite sure what it will end up looking like as he didn't get his paperwork in before payroll was turned in. He's not used to it not being electronically in there already from the satellites. But, is on the ball now. So, if it ends up being what they say, it will be good! Insurance is BC/BS, in 90 days. Only bummer is that you have to work Holidays. But you get paid a little extra to do so. That's unless the Holiday falls on a weekend. Right now the way the job market is, and the trucking industry is, we'll deal with it and be happy!

I am happy to see him happy. I know the little guys get little airtime on these forums, so I wanted to give these guys a shout out!

 

No, they are real. He's been there 3 years. Must be thinking of someone else. Independently run. I wouldn't keep them in the favorite catagory, though.
