I was wondering if you can shed any light on FFE's driver unload pay? I may not be understanding it, something about $1.25 per 1000 pds. I am considering a start date Aug. 4th for retraining in their school. I kept my CDL just in case I had to go back. Also info on the types of loads they haul, swinging, swimming, live, dead or like me somewhere in between?

Its not worth touching the freight. Just use a comcheck to pay the lumpers and go in the berth and watch a movie or take a nap. Its not worth the risk of a injury or the added fatigue. Make your money driving!

Hey Playmaker, we just did Hunts Point and lower west side of Manhattan. Rolling all the way up to The George Washington bridge on Amsterdam. Tim got a little cranky, he started rocking in his seat and chanting "never again, never again" and foaming at the mouth...... He now has a tick, and mumbles.

 

I spoke with Guy today, but they already assigned me to some one else. I called her and left her a message. Probably to late in the day for a call back. Now I have a name and number to pester her.

Also drove down to Stockton, Ca. today to look at the "Terminal" there. Not much to see. A few trucks were heading out. Trailers docked. Fork lift scurrying about.

I saw 5-6 FFe Trucks on the road today. I guess its like buying a car, then noticing how many other of the same make are on the road.

What is the per diem rate? Is 2956 a normal week Playmaker?
