Hello,
I am currently looking to get my CDL and start OTR driving. I can not afford trucking school right now, so I am looking at companies that offer schooling.
I was about to sign up with CRE, but the bad reviews I read on this forum, made me change my mind. I just heard from CRST today, but I am not sure if I want to do team driving and I have not read a lot good things about them here, so I am a little hesitant about them. I have also applied to FFE.
I am looking forward to getting on the road. I should have done this a long time ago.

Hey American I'm new here too so don't have much to offer. Can tell you that I am starting with Central Refrigerated on Monday. You don't have to pay anything up front with them and the school is only $1200 if you stay with them for one year. Can't speak for the quality as I haven't been there yet but heard some decent things about them. Also if you got the time to sit down read a lot of the post here I have found several of them very helpful.

SWIFT, and ROEHL also offer schooling for new drivers.
AmericanDriver Thanks this. -
Thanx for the info. I'm going to check them out. All the best to you. Keep me updated on how it is going if you can. -
