Have any of you Cascadia drivers gone with the Cas1 mirror bracket, for mounting a C.B. antenna?. Please give me your feed back. Also let me know if your running an amp with it or not. Thanks!

Got a buddy that got one and it helped tremendously. No amp. He didn't check his SWRs, but he can hear and transmit like he was used to before so he is happy. I copied the bracket and am having one made in stainless steel.

    Deputy Chief Thanks this.

Thanks Mike, I'm just trying to get other drivers input, before I lay out the cash on a bracket an antenna, and coax.

Hopefully my bracket will be made before I go out again. I will give it a good test and post the results, including SWR readings. I plan on using a Francis 5x5. (I slip seat so I might not get a Cascadia this time so it might be a week or two.)

Glad to hear that Roaddawg, I was talking to Bob's on the c.b. yesterday morning on my way out to cleveland. I planned on stopping there on the way back, but by the time I got back over there it was raining cats n dogs. So I took it into the Flying J in Brookville, and went to bed for the night. I plan on stopping there on Monday and getting evrything I need. I hope it works out, I've been running a cobra 29 in the truck, but my favorite radio is my galaxy 99. I hope to get that in there. Thanks for the come back Roaddawg!

Agreed. Work great picking up stereo FM signals though.
