The K-Mart lot says "no truck parking", but they'll usually leave you alone overnight. Be prepared to wake up early in the morning, though. On the upside, if you aren't ready to start your day, there should be able to park in the truckstop for a bit.

Dumb luck! The delivery is right across the street at the Walden Galleria!

Sheesh it used to be a rule OTR. If a town only had two exits off the interstate, the good stuff was at one exit and the truckstop was at the other.

Give them a call and ask if you could park there, it's their stuff you have! Couldn't hurt. I always had the impression the the Galleria was like a Big Lots or something.:biggrin_25525:

Oh, I was thinking of that place directly across the street, I didn't think that was a mall, but I have been known to miss the entrance to Peelots as well!!:biggrin_2559:

    I'm back!

Anyway Jim's WAS directly across from the mall. I didn't actually park at Jims but at the K-Mart next door. And even though the lot was plastered with "No Truck" signs there were about 30 rigs there when I pulled up and ever more when I went to bed. (Frankly K-mart might as well lease the lot to Jim's because I went into the K-mart and it's pretty barren. I don't think they could fill a quarter of that lot on Black Friday. The lot is huge and the building is so far from the street that where the trucks were parking wouldn't be a place the 4-wheeler customers would want to go anyway)

Took about 3 hrs to unload, and my dispatcher wanted me to loiter in case he could get me a backhaul. So I went over to Borders, had some coffee, and bought some magazines. Also the Taco place next door seemed pretty popular for lunch.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Helped a lot.
