I have a few questions

I could possibly be in the same boat as nathan. I talked to my recruiter and he said they can't get in touch with several of my former employers, and on top of that my DAC report has info that (is not good) and it does not pertain to me. I just filed a dispute about a month ago and the results came back with more info that's not mine. I was able to get the agencies number that reported the info and the guy tells me that the SSN's don't match??? How can USIS display info that should have been pulled according to my SSN and not verify that its mine? So TMC says I have to prove that's not mine, which is no problem cause I have never had any problems with the law and I just received my TSA approval letter for the Hazmat endorsement, which he said I could fax him and that should help, until I can get my DAC cleared up. I have to see about contacting my former employers. I hope they won't disqualify me because of my former employers. You think???

 

I would be surprised if you were held accountable for a DAC report that has the wrong SSN, that seems like something that would be easy to disqualify. As for your old employers, have you tried contacting them yourself? Are they still around or do you have any back channels to get a hold of them? Unless you had a ton of jobs I don't really see this being a problem either. I'm coming into TMC still employed with the same company I've been at since Sep '01 driving concrete so I'm not sure how strict TMC will be on it but work history is pretty important to most employers when the economy is down and pendulum swings against labor.

what would be a good place to get on with that TMC likes hiring out of, and tends to take care of their drivers good just so incase TMC still has a issue with my jod history i'll still have a allright job? mybe i might like it ehough i might not have to go to TMC

 

That sucks 13, with all the companies closing their doors this past year experienced truckers looking for work are NOT hard to find. I was real worried about this, even though my app was approved a few weeks ago I called him today to make sure I will still have a slot at orientation when I'm done with school next week. He said best thing to do would be call Des Moines tomorrow and pencil myself in firm on a date so tomorrow I call and try and lock in a seat for myself on the 29th of Dec. Yesterday I talked to USIS and my DAC has been cleared, I also went to a couple of my past employers and I was able to get a up to date number for one of them, but another one has moved or gone out of business, im trying to see if I can find them. Things are getting better

 

You can have an inverter but you have to buy it from tmc and they will have to install it. 180 bucks
