Drivers' Signature on Blank BOL at Shippers' !!!?

    No,Point is you cant blow smoke up a chimney that isn't there.
    I started how I started,if third generation offends you over begging the GOV for a training hand out then so be it.

    If competing is your mind set then your wishing on a prayer,I have what I have because of "What I have done" in this industry

    No begging,no loans or hand outs
    Did raise two kids that never knew their dad before ages 17 but . . . .

    I AM "SELF MADE" sad to know the USA populous isn't of the same fiber

    Really? Another difference. A BOL is contract between the shipper and the carrier and therefore the terms and conditions of that contract should be clearly laid out on the document.

    I just sign someone else' name...usually my dispatchers name.
    He asked 1 time why his name kept showing up on bills of lading ..i just told him he was a representative of the company same as i was.
    And since i didnt have any way of knowing what was on the back of that trailer and it was already sealed..his name could be on the bills since he booked the load.

    any of you picked up a load at millard's c/s lately? ...if you did, you'd know what i'm talking about and would have been bs-ing here way less.

    Yes, many loads. Just sign and leave. After waiting 2+ hours(paid) for paperwork everytime, I could careless.
