It does and it doesn't. I know several folks that are still there in the office that have had DUI's. When they want to enforce policies they enforce policies, if they're feeling forgiving they'll forgive the action. Can't same that I blame them, it's harder than it sounds like to leave your personal stuff at home, and firing people is never fun.

It sounds like they should have the policies that Mayflower/First Student had when I was a school bus driver. If you rear-ended someone you were fired. Other accidents were suspension, retraining and probation. Less than $500 in damage was considered an incident. Test positive for drugs or alcohol you were done as a driver. DUI would definitely have you looking for work.

The only driving that we were expected to report on fellow drivers was over something genuinely dangerous, i.e. could cause a serious accident. Safety made it known they didn't want a bunch of tattletales running around the city. If a driver forgot to turn off a blinker we just used the radio and told them they were leaking blinker fluid.

By the way I got the message about two accidents in the past week with a fatality and a rollover, but that's all. Anyone know what happened?

Wow, that truck is messed up. Kinda makes ya think about things when it looks the same as all of ours.

They can't complain tho about the safety rating dropping, so much new blood going through the gates anymore that its bound to get worse.

If they ain't careful. Roehl will become the new J.B. Hunt once upon a time j.b. hunt was the company to drive for. Then ( as roehl. Is doing) they thought they could become the biggest and started training and schooling new drivers like crazy. Massive amounts of new drivers. We all know the history from there. They stopped and got back to basics and company turned around... sound familar? But the big wigs at roehl think they are better and smarter.. go figure

We just had another flat rollover today, the carnage is in Gary now. Wth man this makes like 5 this year they are gonna have to cut back on this training #### and require one year safe driving to pull a flat this is so sad, we have already lost one driver too many this year.

    Meltom Thanks this.
