I've got a second interview with these guys in Lansing, IL in a week? Any news on how Illinois drivers from this terminal make out? I've noticed on the CSA reports that quite a few of their drivers were ticketed speeding, driving past their 11 and 14.
I'm not sure if it's because the dispatcher/terminal manager has been encouraging this by not giving enough time for deliveries? Or if drivers are so hard up for miles that they just do what they can when they get a load assignment.
Looking for some constructive feedback. Things at Schneider Bulk has gone nuts with experienced drivers being pushed out with low miles; and new drivers are being rushed through their training that they actually believe that as long as the lights work then they're legal. In the past 4 months, every pre-loaded trailer that I've inspected had had something broke that the previous driver didn't catch. i.e., missing return coil springs, broken push-rods, brake pads worn beyond 1/8 inch, etc. . .
