I have recieved calls from CR England, Swift, and CRST. I was wondering which of these were the lesser of the evils. I have read good things about all of these companies so they can not be 100% bad. I'm just looking for some firsthand experiences with any of these companies. Right now it's CR England that has offered me a date to go to the Training School.

OK, you found 3 of the biggest bottom feeders, that was easy!

Keep looking...the has to be something better than them!

    You're in a good area/lane!

Yea I realize this. lol Its just a matter of finding a company that will train me since at 21 I don't really have the credit to finance a school. And I don't have the Money to pay for it.

I have applied to more than these three its just that none of the others seem to be interested in me at this time. I haven't had a job since last August because I was a full time student at the University of Nebraska and I was receiving money from them to go there. I got so many scholarships and grants that they gave me the "extra". So I didn't need a job. So since I have no OTR experience I need 3 years of solid work history.

I think this lack of employment is what is holding me back from the better companies.

Maybe try FFE, I've heard nice things from them and playmaker has a thread with daily updates on how they've been treating him. No place starting out will be great however it just depends on what you're willing to handle in your first yr. You've got on the right forum and keep reading and I guarantee you will get all the knowledge needed to make the best decision.

Uhm, if you have spent so much time at COLLEGE, have you looked for a position in your field of study?

Isn't that why you go to school so that you can pursue your field. Unless ofcourse you studied underwater basket weaving.

Because Uhm... I got sick of school and I have always wanted to drive a truck. My dad drove a truck, as did my uncle and i would go with my dad on trips and there is nothing like the open road for me. Just waking up and driving sounds like an ideal job for me. Also I only went to school for 2 years so I obviously don't have a degree. in retrospect I probably should have mentioned this.

I was a Business Administration major. After 3 semesters it just kind of felt like I was learning the same stuff over and over in most of the classes so I decided I didn't want to do that anymore. I felt that way my 3rd and 4th semester.
