Female interested in trucking from AR

hey guys, im from arkansas married with 2 kids, hubby been a driver for over 10 yrs, he recently hung up his keys and went medical, i on the other hand have dreamed of driving and have alot to over come.
I have been a stay at home mom for 9yrs and for the past 3 my husband ran his own trucking company which I co owned and did the office work while he drove and fixed the trucks and got loads.
Ok so I love my babs but mommy needs a break and what better way i thought than get my CDL, and mommy has to get over fears and in a since what i call get a life.
I have called up swift and got my app in and they got my mvr in and iv done the online study tst 2 times and plan to keep at them for my good.
I also did the egears cdl permit tst course.
I have found it hard to learn the pretrip, iv found a real good u/tub vid but still have trouble remembering the part names.
I have also heard horror stories bout trainers, they scare me the most lol. So if u know of a good one, male or female please let me know.
I like to prepair myself ahead of time before walking into a stressfull situition -not a good speller- also i have a set date to go to millington tn july 11,2011

 

my kids are 9 going on 10 and 6 going on 16, life at home is stressful i never let my kids do anything,im very protective of them, one more thing i have to overcome, i am tryen to way in trucking where i can grow,travel cons be away from family or cna im still struggling to decide, im torn...no one is forceing me into this and i know money is good but not good at the same time lol, i dunno im so lost in thought, please shoot me words of whatever to help me along, id hate to regret it to far down the road, i hated when hubby was gone and that we couldnt take kids,and i hated when he came bk lol,and kids are already saying no mommy stay home.

 

blktop we do not still have our business, it was h e double L lol. my husband isnt willing to climb bk into another trk we just sold all 11 we had,he is a cna now and going into rn
he voiced to me over the wk hed like for me to get something close to home instead of trucking, so i went to get started on my cna, while i was talking with an advisor she let me know that i could also get a grant to a college nearby for the cdl , wow i was shocked, i think after i get my cna i will go and get my cdl just to have it, and i wont be run off if i make a mistake, plus i will have more options when it comes to companies to drive for if/when i decide to go, thanks for all ur thoughts on this.
