My company equips all their trucks with APU's, granted they only have 60 but it shows they care about their drivers.

Done with first day of training and I like the school ready for day two now. What is Central's policy on dogs? I have a bulldog that my brother will watch for me while I am with a trainer. However, if I can not take him in the truck with me then I need to start looking now for a place for him to live. Thanks guys for you help.

Central does not allow pets, there are some Owner Ops that were grandfathered in before they banned pets, but not many. Sorry

Their 'official' policy is no pets - and as bigrigtruckdriver said some of the ones that have been there for years, their pets are grandfathered in. However I have seen a few folks that risk it, and have a pet anyway. I don't recommend that though. IF they wanted to get rid of you - that would only give them more ammunition. Why risk it...

So, we have dropped off the pete for its final time in a cummins shop as far as we are concerned. Finally figured out this icon system. Argued with otrm about whether it was normal for it to take 9 hours for a trailer to go from 91 inside to 37 when set at -10, and from that point only drop 1 degree per hour. So we now are trying to get that fixed. Hate breakdowns of any sort

    Lady K Thanks this.
