Best Truck stop in the USA

not enough money in it to pay for property! truck stops take a lot of land and in LA that is a lot of money just for DIRT!

 

Exactly--same reason--we have lost so many of the old good one's here in Fla--that and it pays more to grow condo's than cornfields!--#### Shame

 

Couldn't agree with you more!! Living in Florida for fifteen years and watching the population grow and grow really puts a damper on why I moved there in the first place: relatively low people per square mile in my part of Brevard County. But it's grown so fast! And land is not cheap, either, unless you want to build in the swamp.

Man you don't know the half of it! I'm the 5th generation of this family here--oh and I'm a grandfather--paved paradise and put up a parking lot!

 

I like the T/A in Mt. Vernon MO. (x46 on I-44), they have a good buffet, and the staff is very friendly. I also like the Russel's in NM {free wi-fi, good selection of products and gifts, and an old car museum}
