Gary was the murder capitol of the U.S. for about ten consecutive years, till a few years ago, now it is rated second.

    http://www.worst-city.com/Murder-Rate-in-US-Cities-worst-state-city-for-shootings-murders.htm

I delivered brand new modular homes twice to burn-out neighborhoods in Gary twice about 6 or eight years back. I carried my 9mm with me both times, but as an Indiana resident with a valid concealed weapons permit, I was doing it legally. As it turned out it wasn't necessary because there was high police presence as well as paid armed guards who were staying with the home 24/7 until it was set and occupied.

I like this thread, any thread that has the subject of carring a side arm in your truck, your pesonal living space. Anyway, I agree that it is the company's truck, there rules. Another reason to get my own truck, on top of many more.

My point to my post is this; Whether we like it or dislike it, the 2nd ammendment is what it is. I faught for it, friends died for it and I will fight for it again.. I have no problem with an American decideing not to carry, that is your right and freedom to do so. I also stand behind the American that chooses to carry one. I do not, however, appreciate the American that tries to force their opinion on someone else, just because they don't agree.

We have the right to protect ourselves and our homes, property, and families, with lethal force, Inc. Firearms. Which I love, and at one time was a right i was sworn to protect. sadly, companies in our country also have the right to deny us our constitutional right. Though there are other ways to protect yourself, I never thought of a fire extinguisher, and when I start driving for roehl, you can bet I will have an extra handy.
