Lately I have been having some digestive problems. My stomach is constantly gurgling even after I eat. Having lots of gas and sometimes diarrhea. Tried some Imodium A-D and some Pepto but the problem dosen't seem to go away. I will be going out with a trainer in a couple of weeks and am thinking if this continues this will not be good for me or my trainer. Was wondering if maybe there is some diet change I can do to maybe help the problem. Not even sure what the problem is. Thanks in advance.

Without knowing what your diet is, when you're eating, etc, it's hard to say what the offending culprit could be.

Try fiber, i.e. plants. Non processed plants. Whole grains, beans, veggies and fruits. And drink lots of water. Fiber will bulk up your stool and keep them from being so soft (the diarrhea) and water helps move the fiber through your system. Best advice I can give without knowing the details of what your habits are.
Oh, and exercise never hurts. Might be hard to do, though, depending on your trainers habits. -
Also you can try some probiotics...
If all else fails, check with a doctor... there are bacteria (C-Diff for one) that can cause those problems... -
Had an additional thought- it could be you are reacting to something you're eating. It could be something as simple as lactose intolerance, or something harder to pinpoint. I personally have issues with processed sugar, and that took months to figure out! Try weeding out certain foods and see what happens. Go one day without dairy, for example. If that doesn't help, go the next day without seafood. Trial and error until you figure out what works for you. Every body is different, so it may take some time to get your personal diet correct.

Thanks for all the replys. I have tried the fiber thing to see if that will help and also trying the activia yougart since my sister swears by it. Things seem to be getting somewhat better not as much gas and the grumbling seems to be gone. So will continue on from there. Would love to go to a doctor to check it out but have no money or insurance to do so. If I can make it through till my insurance kicks in and still have the same issues then I will go to doctor.

Pink stuff (pepto) is the remedy for all that ails you! I never go away with out packing a bottle...there's ALWAYS a bottle within reach in the truck!

A change in bowl habits definitely warrants a trip to a gastroenterologist. More than likely they'll perform a colonoscopy. Absent any pathology findings you will be told you have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).
That said I understand your insurance situation and as long as there is no blood present you are probably okay waiting it out.
Ditch the yogurt and try a probiotic (good bacteria) supplement like Align. There are others available as well.
I had some similar changes not too long ago that included constipation and cramping followed by bouts of diarrhea. Ended up getting a colonoscopy - all of the biopsies came back clean. After doing some research I started taking Align and I have to say it has made a world of difference.
Pepto works well for relief of flair-ups.
For gas relief - try GasX or Mylanta.
Whatever probiotic supplement you try - give it at least 2 weeks (preferably a month). -
Thanks will go get some Align tomorrow and see if that helps. Seems the bran and fiber are helping some too so will stick with them too.

If you find that the Align helps you - Costco has a 63 day box which is decent (compared to other retailers).
