Call California DMV in Sac 916-657-6525 and ask to have it purged from your record. They will purge minor suspensions like this that are 3 years or older. Takes up to 3 weeks after your call to be removed.

 

have a drug test fail on my record that ive bn fighting like hell to get removed,becuz the company bogusly place it there,been looking for employment,does anyone know who will hire.I have papers frm the class that dot said i would have to take,and still no luck????

o I'm a ####### idiot! Yup, I think this thread deserves to be started as such after the stupid as mistakeI madetoday. So,imagine for me a 4 lane divided highway, BUT you are able too cross it without over passes or traffic lights. (Dunno how else to discribe it) I'm sitting on the south side of an intersection and want to turn left onto the divided highway (across the median to theotherside)I'm sitting there for 10 minutes when there is finally a break in the traffic.... I go for it (mind you cross traffic isgoing 65 both ways). Meanwhile a gentleman on the north side of said intersection wants to turn left as well (essentially we'll meet in the middle and each make our left) anyhow..... I go for it and so does he, I have to take the lane on the inside of the median (fast lane)so not to disrupt traffic. Well guess what sir stupid ### (me) does? I don't pay attention to off tracking and my trailer tandem tire rubs his bumper with the sidewall. It breaks a couple of chuncks off but all in alll not too much damage. Cop comes and gives me an accident report as well as a paper that he tells me to fill out and return within 10 days. From what I've been reading this paper I must fillout,must bethe dreaded dot accident report because on there it says fill out if someone is killed, injured or there is $1000 damage. Call me naive but I don't think a 2000 toyota camery bumper is worth a grand! So to all you vets......

Can I fight this? Can I not fill out the sheet? (It says on there its a misdemenor in MN not to send it in but at least it won't hurt my record) How much does a DOT accident hurt you for future jobs? Is there a forgiveness to one accident in a potential employers eyes?

You see my biggest worry is future employment. Currently I'm at a big box training company but want to get on with a local company that has a small fleet and is 10000000x better than big box but they are pretty tough to get into. I feel like such a ####tard ### for what I have done but don't feel I should be punished for the next 7 years due to a freaking camry bumper. How long exactly do accidents haunt you?

What do you guys think? Fight it? Thanksfor any advice. I seriously haven't been this bummed about fudging up in a long time. I literally told my long time girfriend "there are a lot of options out there for me" an hour and a half before it happened. It was so hard to basically see my 6 month plan go up in smoke and have my dreams crushed.....

17 years ago I failed a ua, while I was in the nat. Guard. I was alreAdy told no by roehl and prime, central ref. Said ok. Anyone know who else trains recent grads, with failed test, thc. Can't believe, still nagging me 17 yr later, dumb kid then.

I've been driving otr since september 10 , started with covenant back in Feburary and since then I've had...

Trailer lights out, blown fuse. MI
DOT officer pulled me over in WA,for driving in far left lane, he had a state cop give me a ticket for it.

Last night I made a turn around a semi parked at a TA and took his fish eye mirror off....



So now I have an accident on my record and a ticket.

Not sure what its going to do with my CSA score but right now its at 22!!

I really am pissed at my self, I know I need to work on not being in such a hurry that I don't do stupid stuff . My hope though is to get a solo trucking job, I HATE teams and TEAMS is NOT why I got into trucking...

Im worried though that with my record no decent trucking company will hire me.

 

I got my C.D.Ls 3 years ago and didn't go over the road and now I want to I now I will have to be retrained and this will cost me. I would like to know if any one knows of a company that will take me with just a 3 year mvr

 

I was just denied employment by a major trucking company. I did not meet their qualifications. My transgressions are as follows misdemeanor marijuana possesion 1991, Omvi .11 2000, no violations, legal problems of any kind since. Worked 3 jobs every day since 1993. On current job for over 6 years. Excellent references. No driving experience. Will anyone hire me? Looking for OTR and don't need to be home often. 4 times first year would be nice. Non drinker, No drugs. Can pass any test that doesn't go past 11 years. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

 

Was it only because of the DUI, I thought they only went back 10 years. Not that I have anything on my record, I am just curious...
