YES! I have been approved for Prime. :biggrin_25520:

I'll bore you with the details later but I have a quick question.

Are there particular Truck stops Prime uses for fuel? I am setting up my shower cards and such (I am a preplanner) and TA, Pilot, and Loves come to mind are there any others I should expect to use regularly?

I am a total N00B but I have been lurking for months while deciding on the career change. Wanted to to give a big thanks to IP, U2 and others who have give such great info. I choose prime largely because of this forum and how Prime drivers seem to have some pride in the co.

I'll start the "My Beginning with Prime" thread once I have a travel date from my recruiter

The new card from T/A (Ultra One) is also good at Petro locations.

The Pilot card is also good at any Flying J.

& since you have the Love's card... you're pretty much set to go.

A couple others you can pick up along the way if you want are Sapp Bros. & AM Best... but you really won't use them much unless you run west a lot.... I picked up those two but really don't plan on using them much at all.

I'd get them. If you're going to run on the company side for awhile, you'll end up at both AmBest stops and Sapp Bros.

By the way... the Sapp Bros in Peru IL has truely awesome fuel prices all the time!

There is one AmBest in Indiana on I-70 that I can almost always count on fueling at if I'm routed thru there, and that Sapp in Peru, IL, I don't know how they do it, but constantly 20 - 30 cents per gallon cheaper than any other stop in IL.
