Had a chat with my FM to see if she could hook me up with a few more miles before I head home. She oblidged with a nice pre-plan from Statesville, NC down to Laredo. I'll highlight down in Laredo and grab another good chunk of miles working my way back to Florida.

 

Taking my 10hr break at the Pilot in Florence, SC. Leave in the early morning for Lancaster, TX terminal.

 

We droped our Calexico run and are now headed down to Laredo with a Con-way Freight load. Should be there sometime this afternoon and really hoping to get a good run from there

 

Joplin terminal. Get in a 34, and then get back out there.

 

McPherson, Kansas picking up a run headed to Laredo.

 

Calera, AL at the Walmart taking my ten hour break. Drove 500 miles today.....all in Alabama

 

I haven't dissapeared on y'all!

Been a little under the weather lately so have been using all my off time getting extra sleep, feeling a bit beter now though.

We delivered our Laredo run and got 1 going to Indiana. Then we delivered that one and got one going from Indiana to Calexico, CA. We deliver this Calexico load at 9 AM in the morning and pick up a run in Fontana headed back to Laredo.

We switched out in Albequrque (sp?), NM today because I couldn't drive any further, had to sit on I-40 around mm 365 for almost two hours as they shut down both EB and WB traffic on the interstate and service roads due to wildfire.
