My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

i have a feeling i wont make it to tacoma. It's 800 miles from Modesto, CA to Lakewood, WA STRAIGHT through. I just went in and asked i have 3 stops tomorrow.

I have 17.25 hours for Tomorrow and saturday.

Pre-trip's= .5
800 miles at 55 mph= 15.5 hrs
Fuel= .25
3 stops= .75

TOTAL= 17 hours! That gives me 15 minutes to spare! I'll be SOOO pissed if i run out of hours short of the Lakewood Terminal.


And no 34 for me unless i have to! I'll be fine with a few hours to see my cuz and meet her S2B husband.

Well the other driver finally got here so they could load my trailer, its heavy

I hooked to the POS trailer, i already miss my brand new one i just dropped. AND they changed the load! I end in Vancouver now NOT lakewood, AND i cant make it there until SATURDAY, so if i dont get a weekend load i'll be STUCK just a little TO FAR to go to my cousins house (in the truck) i may rent a car or she may come get me depending on hour far it is and how long im stuck there.

I was really looking forward to parking at the J and hanging out with family for the night.......oh well

OH and first stop 8 am 4 HOURS away so i have to be up at 2 and leave by 3am! Cali time so only 6 am my time

GREAT DAY!

So i left Modesto, CA early this morning, busted out 3 stops and made it to Roseburg, OR.

I sent dispatch a message to get a weekend load, and let him know im low on hours. So he says take a 34 call me monday! SO i message him back and say, "any chance you need anything moved from Vancouver to Lakewood tomorrow? I have family in Lakewood and would rather do a 34 there..."

SO this is why I LOVE W/S!

He says, OK Drop your trailer in Vancouver and grab an MT, DEADHEAD to Lake wood and Hook to a Load going to Utah, with a stop in OR, and ID. And do a 34 in lakewood!


My cousin is SO excited lol
