Saw the MS with my own two eyes BTW, didn't really believe it myself but there it was...lacked in honor though. Even sent him a PM that was NOT returned. I have been given permission over there (# Cargo) to start failing Road tests (guys applying for work w/ CDL's) for Failure to completely and accurately perform a brake test....Amongst other inadequicies...had one the other day push in the Emergency MV3 valve (red knob) , (bobtail) after parking and walk away (truck, loudly, leaking air) without setting the tractor brakes...the truck rolled back wards to rest on one of the stops...six years exp. There were other blatant mistakes on this road test as well but that topped them.

Funny you mention the color of the over spray... 'Tis white... Definatly white. Yet, any body work they do "is sent to an outside vendor"...

No, they do it in house as you know. Already asked them about it..we narrowed down the possiblities as to when and how. Looked at your truck....didn't see it, but it was a little dirty. I am sure alot of you folks think me to be an ##hole but I would argue the points....of course. I am sure that the issue can be resolved..worked in a prof. detail shop for 7 years.

Well Yes, there is a MS of me on that site... sorry tried PM you but it said I dont have enough Posts to send a PM (thats BS) Anyways, Yes there are some risks involved with the repo industry...and that is one of them... I repo'd a big truck (tractor trailer) here in boise, (with verified info btw) I had a valid repo order truck went to our local lot over night then driven to Seattle for auction... No issues... dropped at auction, was notified about the situation, informed leos of my flight info, flew home. met by Boise PD at the gate of the airport and was taken to the jail, w/o cuffs till the gate at the jail as I was co-operating... booked in and I bailed out 15 min later.

Went to court with my Attny and case was dropped.... The debtor was delinquent in his payments I had in my possession a valid REPO order at the time of repossession... next day, prior to the debtor going to his truck ( as the police report reads) the debtor submitted his delinquent payments plus pay off, so when he showed up to his truck (as the new legal and registered owner) it was gone he claimed stolen vehicle... but, as I had notified Local Leos of the date and time of repo PRIOR to taking the truck, Boise, P.D. verified I had repo'd the truck prior to the pay off being made, and therefore a LAWFUL REPO and nothing illegal happened...The case was dropped at arraignment...

So there ya go the short side of the story... Wow "E" there ya go again jumping the gun... but I do applaud cargo for finally giving you the authority to fail applicant drivers.... where as before (im guessing) you were just passing everybody goes to show that cargo wasnt exactly a quality company...

Im not here trying to pick a fight with ya but It just was interesting that you would go adding that info on here in that way before trying to get any story on the event.

Besides some of us dont roll 24/7 on this site while working... sometimes I will be away for a few days doesent mean I'm avoiding the issue just havent been online yet.

Seeing how the big boss is a full-blown foamer on the board, I guess it would pay to stay away from this "outfit"

I figured charges had been dropped when I looked for the picture later on-line and it didn't come up. Sounds like a pretty lame risk of the job. Probably did jump the gun a little but it certainly is not the first time. It is public info though. I, forbid it should happen, ever end up on the site would fully expect and deserve to be delivered a boat load of shots from all that see fit to take them. I am quite sure that it would be very many folks. Call it out of line, whatever. I apologize?

I was able to fail for brake tests before and was not, just passing anyone. It was just handled differently before. Now, it is an automatic failure and I usually feel it out in the interview. We are now encouraged to shut it down at the first hints, of things as such.

Not trying to pick a fight either. I am under a lot of stress and pressure over there to try and minimize accidents and I feel I do my fair share to try and prevent future threaders from appearing on this site out of the school. Obviously there are issues out of my control and speech, thank God and all who fight for it, is free.

Duncan....I am just going to ignore the finger poking from you, as that is about all from you that I have read. I do not believe you have added any substantial thing to this thread whatsoever.....in fact, go blow foam of your own....haha, I crack me up.

It is not easy being one opposed to #____.

Mike I will give you my phone numbers in a PM and would be glad to discuss anything further. Might even do some good, rather than conversing via "crack paddle".

All for now, drive safe and for God sakes don't hit anything, this is serious #### people. Take care and later and stuff. "E".....ighteen wheels.

would be nice if someone would bring some positivity to this thread...cargo or not...having my own disagreements with CEI at the moment...I am thinking N.Dakota in the fall perhaps..? Money to be made with a license and skills....after all 'bout payin' bills...

without looking: (it up) google machine....When can you make a left turn on a red light? What state has no N. and S. Interstate in it? How many states do not observe DLST??......ready, go...)
