At the Tyson plant in Rogers, AR. Wish all meat plants were like this. Lounge area with big screen tv, bathrooms, showers, and even free wifi. What more can a guy ask for??? Well, ok.... so maybe a......
mr.nobody and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
If you're gonna be a meat hauler be ready to sit in nasty meat plants, get a refridgerator for your truck and a coffee pot so you can have coffee of your own and when you're at Swift for 36 hrs you can eat. Been there done it. Spent many a cold, windy, snowy night in Fremont NE with snow drifting over the hood of my truck whilst waiting for a load. Amarillo is a nasty one, chicken plants not usually so bad. Glad Armour closed in SD tho. Getting washed out all the time can be a hassle. You always have trouble with a reefer in Needles when its 115 for some reason. Good luck.

I agree with Ironpony about the docks back east. been to more than a couple that are narrow, short and unlite. I had a dock at the school districk in Paterson, NJ. i had to jack knife the trailer to get into the dock, let alone the streets being so narrow I have no idea how i got down them with out knocking door handels off of cars.

Good morning. I've been reading the threads and have enjoyed them. One question how many miles are you getting in a two week pay period?
