I have a class A and have about 2 1/2 years experience. I just had a baby and would love to stay close to home for a little bit to help my wife out with our second child. Does anyone know of maybe a company looking for class B drivers in the Maryland area?
I am picking class B because I figured it would be easier to get a job.
Also I have a DUI but was NOT found guilty or have any points on my lincense. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Watch the names on the class B trucks and apply directly to the companies. I just posted in another thread about tool retailers and cardboard recyclers having their own drivers in that type of truck. I also see Coke and Pepsi trucks of that class, and some of the big courier companies too.
You'll likely end up doing a fair bit of toting and carrying, but a little bit of sweat is good for the pores. -
might try ups, just about every ups truck i see on the road is a daycab

You could also check out the local construction and asphalt paving companies that run their own trucks.

Excavation companies, but they're seasonal.

Anybody have any idea if any companies in Maryland will hire with a DUI? No points and no sign of it on my driving record. I have no idea where to start looking.

You might try the major newspaper's in your area. They may be hiring. Trash haulers, dump trucks, beverage distribution, food service......

Septic trucks usually require Class B. At least the one(s) I drive do
