hey man, all i gotta say about prime is.. they have quality training with a reasonable amount of time you have to endure before you get your truck to ensure you are ready to drive by yourself on the road. if you choose prime.. start as a company driver for atleast a year and make a solid check then maybe think about being a lease operator with them. just go with the flow when your out there and keep that positive mindset and youll be aight. goodluck with your choice brotha. prime is good though, i tell you.. they are good, and you CAN make money.
Which training company to start with?

Check your local community college out first. I qualified for WIA and a grant from the school and I ended up with my CDL a certificate for only $400 out of pocket for everything. You can still go to one of the starter companies after that only without 5k in debt. Im leaning heavily towards Builders transport out of memphis but my mvr is clean.

Depending on the outcome that reckless might hurt you since its less than 10 years old. Mega carriers are all about insurability.

I've seen several websites that say 3 years on wreckless driving. Most are 5 years and I have seen 1 year on one, I think. I can't remember who it was. It was in a post by "123456" in "seek employment" or "trucking jobs", I think.
I would study and go after the permit on my own. I can't remember your employment status, but many state employment offices will offer funding for driving schools if they have the money and you meet the requirements.
