I know they're considered the worst of the worst, and as bad I want to get into trucking, I won't go with them, but SOMEBODY is driving for them, right?
Are they just desperate for work, paying their dues, or maybe it's not so bad for some people??
Just curious. Stay safe!
Is CR England REALLY that bad?

the lack of responses answers my question! LOL
sorry for the stupid question -
If you're that desperate, don't look into the companies that everyone says is the worst. Get on with a local asphault company, drive a dump truck, and work your way up. If you have a cdl-A you can haul equipment for them and it will count as exp. Not with every company, but enough to get you on with a decent outfit.

As a lease purchase driver they fired me while home with the flu rhwn fired my boss when she brought it to their attention that they were cheating us on pay
-
I have no personal experience with them. Based on my research, I wouldn't work for them if they were the only job and I was broke and homeless.
Remember, this is my opinion and my wife says I'm almost always wrong! -
Why no Randy, of course they aren't that bad. It is just that everyone who has posted nasties about there here are lying crybabies.
Don't believe me? Go lease a truck with them.
Some people really do just have to learn the hard way.
NOTE: I have never worked for CR England. I can learn from other people's horror stories. . .groundpounder and BigJohn54 Thank this. -
Well even as bad as the stories get SOMEONE must be driving for them because I see their trucks on the road almost every day, and I'm in SW Florida.

I drive for CRE as a IC. It's all in your work ethic. Don't buy into the BS that everything is going to be handed to you on a silver platter, because that's the idea the main carriers try to sell you. There is more to being a truck driver than just driving the truck -- and this is where you'll get most of the negative comments from.
All of the main OTR carriers are the same. The only difference is the paint job on the truck and trailer.Rick Brown Thanks this. -
My grandfather 30 years back or so drove for CR England back when they had the "And son" in the title..
He said they were very respectful and very Prideful in their ethics and the operations that they did. He was very happy with them (Mind you that No matter where you go if you put in 100% you'll get more then 40%)
So I guess that the son took over CR England; and thats when everything turned south for that company
Now, My uncle is a trainer for CR England... and He Hates It!; He's wanting to switch back to Prime (He drove for prime for 6 Years and Train'd for CR for 1)... He doesn't get paid that well at all, He said he got paid more at Prime doing Refer then he is a trainer with CR England;
I'm not going to CR nor am i thinking about going to CR; It's just from a family member experience; I would have to say look some where else.. Unless of course You Want to Work EXTRA Hard
Again, I'm not a trucker (yet) - All these are opinions based on Word of Mouth;
As many people said;
Trucking is like a marriage; Some times you have to get married 4 or 5 times until you find that woman of your dreamsor sometimes the woman or man starts abusing you and then you get into that 'I love him so much even though he beats me' state of mind (Another words working as a slave)...

"All of the main OTR carriers are the same. The only difference is the paint job on the truck and trailer."
Couldn't be a more incorrect statement made. Not once in working for 2 other big carriers did I get a negative paycheck after working solidly during a pay period. CRE was the only one. and I'M not the only one saying that.
AND... I'm not lazy, fat, gambling-addicted, lot lizard-addicted or anything else that slows down other people... nor do I have a baby momma taking money out of my checks, etc...
