i went into the Kansas City Term today jus for fuel.. there's a huge sign up on the gate that says you must enter shop once entering the yard.. shop was close, circled around to the fuel pumps, went to line four and pumped 100+ gals and hauled out of there.

They were bumping down the max speed on all the trucks.
I was the guy with the laptop and the white bag if you happened to be there while I was. I was out of there at about 12:30pm local time there yesterday. -

Baddog3095 Thanks this.

heh heh... I know! They're gutless under a load.... Still, I have to say it turns TIGHT and handles really nicely... I can actually sleep in it, too.
No big complaints.
I'll be on again another day or later... gotta get rolling.gt4jk Thanks this. -
nope, i didn't make it onto the yard until sometime after five, so everything was already dead and quiet. there were a few guys walking to and from the lounge but that was about it.. and that's the one thing i've learned about the lounge, someone is always watching something dumb on the tv.. either something from the 60's or something my wife wouldn't even watch on "LifeTyme"
the whole speed thing kinda got me a little twisted.. every truck i get in wont break 61mph.. my DM said it's cause who ever had it before me idle alot and that next time i'm at a shop to call him and he'll have them reset the idle clock. well that's the funny thing cause i'm never in a shop unless i'm getting something simple fixed, and when i am in a shop they're always swamped and it'll take a day or two. so since i've been running 60mph all of this time and making it work, i'm just gonna idle my ### off. it's too hot in the midwest not to. -
The secret to the speed limit is to minimize idle and maximize fuel mileage... idle smart and drive smart. My truck goes 66.
I hope you get it worked out... lots of people do idle more than they should.
Go through your menu and post your percentage for the idle... I'm curious as to what it says. -
ProStar doesn't have the the road relay like the volvos, and the qual comm only keeps track of engine statistics for that day. i've gone through the dash menu, and it's mostly jus odometer stuff and a rear axle weight scale that's somewhat accurate.

They can reset it at a yard if the tech knows how... just asked my trainer.
Celebrating my 31st birthday by doing laundry at the exit 263 Pilot on the I-5 just south of Portland, OR.... gotta wait until tomorrow to get my next load, so I virtually go ttoday off...

Hope you had a good birthday, and you had someone treat you right on your day!
