I have a felony for theft and misdemeanors - can I be a truck driver?

i think what we can do is simply NOT REPLY to any of them anymore...??

i am cutting back on this, as many times they are only trolls...and what we frequently call a "one post wonder"....why play into them..??

do not answer such questions and wait and see if they even post a follow up question.

we will NEVER KNOW fact from fiction when such posts are made, so why bother getting riled up..???

 

I tried that approach with some poster called RERUN....it turned out he actually had some things to offer besides the occasional headache!

You could try swift or maybe CR. Not going to be great Employment but its a job. The reason why your theft charge is a big problem is the employer is trusting you with a truck and trailer that could potently be filled with thousands if not millions of dollars worth of merchandise you may say your done and over with all that stuff but what do you think a company will say when they look at that on your record and compare it to hundreds of other applicants

ive got no use for a thief.....btw tell your buddy thanks for breaking into my new at the time truck and stealing a bunch of my things.....while i was at work (you know, actually working for a living)

Yes I have a criminal record, just keep applying for jobs and someone will hire you. Get ready to be harrased by every LEO that stops you, no matter how long ago it happened, or how honest you have been. I,ve been driving since 1980 no cargo losses or shortages, hauled cargo valued over 4 mil and i do not care at all about going close to our southern border due to the harrasment. Most of the cargo that comes up missing comes from inside the office or dock, 1 place it was the CEO,s son,but then the driver didn,t count his freight either. Too bad alot of the companys that hire you are going to rob you blind and hollar about your criminal record!
