Ain't been a bit of evidence to support that theory. And 36 cents ain't even worth leaving home.

i'm not trying to make this a Van Wyk vs. Prime thing as i just came back to see if anybody else had any input on my question but i must say that to say we are struggling is a crock of ####... by all means i aint a company man and i dont plan on retiring here because OTR isnt really what i'm looking for to doing the rest of my life but i must say this isn't a bad company at all!! Based on the conversations i've had with other midwest meat haulers Van Wyk is probably has the best pay package in that whole Iowa/Minnesota/Dakota's Area.... I started in July last year and made 25K in 6th months while being home every weekend...

We don't get hassled about Idle Time, We don't have to follow certain routes and have certain fuel stops based along our routes, we dont have to keep a certain mpg, and other things when it comes to driving for the mega's..... Now, by all means if you prove something to show that its a struggling company then by all means so well be it, but i'm willing to bet, if there was anybody that drove for prime and they was eligible to be hired by Van Wyk and got offered the job, i bet 9 times out of 10 they would take the offer...

I got nothing against Prime as i drove for Schneider as my first gig, slow beat up trucks with strict rules, but i can list a boat load of #### why i wouldn't drive for prime, i've heard a couple of guys talking up there in Railex in Rotterdam, NY and heard a couple of things that i know #### well wouldn't float my boat... I mean i like Prime Equipment, Minus those small ### 386's, Cascaidas, and 9200's,..... but i got nothing against any of you prime guys just the guy who claims i work for a struggling company with no proof

Why dont yall make a forum just for Prime haters and leave us alone? Just talking to the haters... If you dont like Prime, then go somewhere else... How hard is that? Now back to looking for the mute/ignore button....

Yeah yeah, ... I'll quit buggin' y'all. This only started because I had a question about the occasional Prime driver I see driving WAY below safe speeds on the highway. Came to the conclusion it's probably cuz that individual driver is struggling to make his MPG quota.

Struggling? Doubtful. More likely maximizing his fuel bonus.

Ive passed a few trucks from other companies too... We may not be speedy, but we make money and have a good reputation for safety. Love the little green light on the prepass
