I have not watched the past couple of weeks yet. But I had an idea. Kind of going with the direction that this season has gone.
Why not do a show on Trucking Radio. Many of the old shows are gone, or changed. But XM kept several of the old guys around with Dave Nemo and Bill Mack (now retired), and Bozo. Plus a few on air programs still around like the Midnight trucking radio network.
I understand the constraints of the show in many ways. It cannot be just geared towards truckers. What we would like to see on the show, with the real life day to day driving trucker, would just not be good TV.
Plus who would watch it. Truckers would not, since they see exactly that every day.
Other people would not either, since it would be rather boring.
Another idea is to go with one of the police ride along programs. It is the TACT program. And is done in several states. In this program state police ride in trucks and ticket aggressive drivers of cars and trucks.
It is a way to educate people on how to drive around trucks. That teaches them with their wallet, where it hurts.
American Trucker series picked up for Season 2!

I watch the show but I definitely agree the host is a little to over excited. Calm him down and cover real trucks and stories and you'll have a great show.
-
a good show would be one on the drives in iraq--or aphganistan--or maybe un drivers
there are so many different aspects that could be shown that might catch the general publics interest -
I agree that the host needs to calm down a little bit sometimes, but at least he's passionate. I liked the one with the nascar trucks, shows we aren't all bums. The one with the 45 year driver from UPS was pretty good too.
Volvo92906 Thanks this. -
Bozo an Nemo ROFL!
Those two are stuck in history for 50 years ago. Nemo cuts to many people off and Bozo needs to be on politcal talk radio. As well as get some differant callers rather than the same 5 people who call into every show on the road og channel. -
I kinda like the show, Most times. LoL
At the very least it's positive coverage of trucking.
Robb just takes some getting used to. LoL
He's just a 'lil excitable when it comes to big rig's.
