Can't say I like em. Picked this one up from the plant yesterday.

No driver visible reefer status light. There is a light now on the reefer engine access door. Small and only flashes yellow if there is an active alarm... Defiantly not visible to the drivers seat.

No inspection door. Nada, zip, zilch.

Traditional reefer on off switch is permanently "on" unless the new red cover is opened. Close the cover and the switch flips to on. Simple push button now to turn on an off, located under the reefer (not like the rail trailers)

They do have skirts, do have 8 tires...

No rubber bump stops... Now welded steel blocks that extend out from the trailer.

Overall I miss the white corners... Really hard to make out the trailer numbers in the dark... But that problem is old news with last few older series.

It is an ECO49... Maiden load was 16k of Ice Cream... I find that ironic. 30 gallon tank, which means no restart for a driver with produce setting or Ice cream under high outside temps. (25 gallons really as the unit shuts down to keep from running out with 5 gal left)

Oh, I can't seem to get any trailer sensor tracks on my QC.. It says "no trailer connected". However Prime receives alarms and forwards them by QC. (I was precooling the second I left the plant and Wabash only fills them a quarter)

Quite a few of these are almost ready to go... At least 100 in the lot in front of the Wabash plant... Last time I was there was 3 years ago picking up a 29xxx series. Only about 8 in the same lot at that time.

Hmmmm. Doesnt sound like a good trailer.... I like the 100xxx n 110xxx trailers, always look for them when picking an empty lol These sound like they will cause a lot of problems in the future...

also these new trailers are intermodel fyi thats the reason for most of the changes like the push button and what not as well as the duals instead of the singles the singles wont set in the slots on the trailers or make it out of mexico when they go down on a train..

o they will give you the miles lol just not the pay we r gaurenteed .95 a mile and like to keep it that way with lease or at least close to it.. i have seen company loaads go out at2.25 but that doesnt mean the company driver sees it someone else lines their pockets with it instead of givin someone thats deserving a lil cheddar on occasion... kinda has a few of us up in arms right now
