A lot of folks who were leasing during '08 and '09 went elsewhere or got out of trucking if they had problems making enough to cover bills, etc. It was a tough bit of time.

Yup. There's a bunk heater for winter, but you have to manage your idling for cooling to keep it within the fuel economy limits. The idea at one time was to use an all-electric APU on the lightweights, but for some reason the plan didn't work out.

On my employment history, my most previous job will be 2 years, from July 2009 to present and the job before that was for 3 years. The company from the 3 year job is now out of business though, so therefore I have no phone number to provide for verification. So my 2nd to last job, which spanned 3 years, is unverifiable. How worried should I be about this being a problem?

A W-2 usually works in this case. Hope you saved them!

Paystubs... if you had a direct deposit to a bank account, that probably could be used for verification.
