How long have you been at Roehl and what keeps you there? I am looking at them for CDL school/employment. I am very interested in your opinion & experience.
Thank you.
What about roehl?

I did four years in dispatch. I'm at a different company now that I wish was half as good as Roehl

How are you making out for miles sense you have been with them? I understand each company is different, and are a lot of people too.

He(we) have been here almost 8 years. We are still here because... Well that's a good question. Only once has he ever said I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice, and within a day everything that had been going wrong was fixed. Yes there have been screw-ups..missed hometime and the like but our DSRs have been great about making it up. Miles are steady, paycheck doesn't bounce and usually home when we want, or as the case is now loads going where we want to go

I'm averaging 2600-2900 a week but you have to take the good with the bad. I've been told that Roehl actually has more freight than they can handle right now. Actually a couple weeks ago, the Gary Terminal had 32 loads sitting in the yard with no drivers. However, you're going to have slow weeks, its the nature of the business.
Deliver on time and you'll never have any problems at Roehl. They won't push you to fudge your logs or drive past your HOS. They will not let you drive unsafe or drive unsafe equipment. -

I'm still on paper logs although the software is on my truck pc. I'm finding that I end up with more hours on the e-log than the paper log. The e-log shows actual time instead of 15 minute increments. If you make a pit stop of ten minutes, that is what is logged. Paper log you have to show fifteen minutes of break or straight line drive time with a flag at the break.
