I'll try and keep this short.
May 26 I applied for psd and was approved. Told recruiter I needed 6 weeks or so to finish up stuff at home. She said to call back closer to when I was ready. On June 26 through phone and email I told her I was ready but needed to give 4 weeks at work as my employer asked for it if possible.
Recruiter said no problem we'll schedule you for July 26 class. And sent me an orientation letter with all info on it. She asked me to call a week later for bus confirmation.
I gave notice at work.
Call for bus info and told there may be an issue with me coming out of Florida and she needed to get with operations to get a 3rd approval after I have already quit my job.
Should I just roll with it and wait or try and contact someone else like a manager in recruiting? I understand things change so I am trying to be flexible but I quit my job based on my approval and letter stating I was to start july 26.
Do you know who I could talk to (PM me if you wish) Again I do not want to make any waves I just don't want to be unemployed because of an error.
FYI I live just off I75 between Ocala and Tampa 60 miles due west of Orlando on SR50. I am looking to run 8 weeks out home 3 days 8 weeks out type of thing. I have been with present employer 3 years and have never had any law issues and last traffic ticket was 8 years ago no accidents in past 10.

OK, first off let me say that I know nothing about PRIME. Never worked for them, nor do I know anyone who has. But I'd like to give you something to think about here.
A representative of this company encouraged you to quit your job before knowing for sure they could hire you. A simple mistake? Or is this the type of "I don't give a schidt" attitude that you can expect from the company?
I would think very long and hard before going to any company that this happened with.123456 Thanks this. -
Have you called your recruiter this wee? June 26 was a week ago and you are only 2 weeks out from having to leave.
I would be on the phone and emailing them now. JMO -
Call and talk to her. Not a voice mail, talk TO her. She would get nothing out of you quitting your job. They do not get paid to mess your life up. Find out exactly what is going on ASAP. The sooner you find out the better for you.

Thanks to you guys for posting and to those who pm'd me.

I have been emailing daily so I had a record. Any how today at 4:03 she sent me confirmation and I will begin with Prime July 26. YEAH!!
There were some questions with where I lived (The city is not on most maps.) Once I pointed them to the exact exit and the milage to tampa, orlando, and ocala It was settled.
Thanks again I am sooo excited to be with PrimeCadetTrucker Thanks this. -
AWESOME!!! CONGRATS!!! If you got anymore questions, just ask.

thanks for your post but in the end it was a simple matter of clearing things up since I live in a low freight state and while prime has openings at times in my state they fill quickly. They just wanted to be certain they would have the freight to get me home. It would sound like a bit of a tale to me but if I use my city name instead of a zipcode with ups my shipping is considerable higher because my city is mistaken for one way south in the midle of no where.Big Don Thanks this.
