I'm not personally familar with a percentage pay position, and no expert on anything, but my business model depending on variables forecasts truck expenses between 49% and 60% of gross. Using a mid-point of 54%, You would need 43.5% of net to equal 20% of gross. Net .46 * pay .435 (43.5% of net) = .20 (20% of gross).
There is nothing wrong with percentage pay and it can be an incentive to make money for both the owner and driver. Anyone considering a position like this needs to understand the numbers and the tax status.
I need a driver asap!! east coast mostly.

Ok Thank You for letting me know and sorry to hear about your shoulder, hope you get better soon. I tried to send a PM but it says I don't have enough posts yet and wasn't sure if we were allowed to leave email or phone numbers in a post , but here is my E-mail ( STATD04@YAHOO.COM ) -
OK Thank You not sure if we are allowed to post our Email or not as I had tried to PM hitdemlow and it says I don't have enough posts to do that yet so I figured I would see if they could get ahold of me or somehow contact me,

You only need 7 posts to utilize the PM function.
As a backup you can do a site search for moderators. There is a thread with them all listed. Find one that is online and use the guest function to PM them with your message and ask for it to be forwarded. They will do this for you.DamYankee Thanks this. -
