Perez was a decent place to work for 15-30 years ago but I have herd its all gone downhill since the old man (john) retired. I was told everyone that wants seasonal work works for button transport in Dixon now. They say they they treat there drivers with respect and actually let them know how much they are making per load and they will actually answer the phone in the middle of the night in the unfortunate event of a breakdown or an accident.
My advice is avoid perez/delta, any company that can not decide on what to call themselves is not on the up to up!

This is funny that all the negative posters all work for this little company and each have just a few posts and each have a computer. There's about three threads flaming the same company. As soon as another poster disagree's, here comes a new member supporting the other guy. :yes2557: That's one way to get someone to agree with you.

Moderators, I bet if you do an IP check, you'll find many of these posters to be the same person with multiple accounts. :)

how many drivers were a head of you they are pretty quik getting you in and out and the one FORKLIFT driver that is quick getting you loaded with empties or getting your loads of pears off to be graded is the best he makes things run smoothly hopefully he is still there this year and by the way Val is a cool guy do you know how manny drivers he has to dispatch during the summer

Im sure Val is cool when your a forklift driver and you are not subject to DOT rules and regulations and you risk loosing your commercial drivers license over that EXTRA three rocks load that needs to be covered because Jose's truck broke a driveshaft near Santa Nella and then when you refuse because you will knowingly be breaking the law by driving over 12 hours and being on duty for 20 hours Val fires you!
Forkliftman, get a CDL then work for Val and come back here and tell us all how cool he is to work for!
I wouldnt work for him ever again even if he sent me 3 playboy models to my house for a week!

Ive seen there ads on craigslist every week now for the last 2 months. they want to hire you as a 1099 worker AKA scam read this http://www.classadrivers.com/forum/new-truck-drivers-get-help-here/35794-beware-1099-scam.html

Its ######## and this crappy little ag trucking company gets worse as the years pass. They lay you off and you will not even be eligible for unemployment! DO NOT WORK FOR THEM! You will owe thousands of dollars to the government and no benefits to your social security!
    Avoid like the plague!
