Anyone on here know anything about Big G out of Shelbyville, TN? They have a new-ish terminal pretty near here (Bulls Gap, TN). I've talked to a couple of their drivers, but never about the company, just at shippers and consignees about general stuff.
I tried searching Big G but every thread with the word 'big' anywhere in it popped up. If you have a link to an active Big G thread on here I'd appreciate it.
Big G Express??

I do know they are hiring as they often advertise for exp drivers on our cable system here in Williamson Co.. They have an all auto fleet, and a large terminal on 840 just before you get to 40, between Murfreesboro and Lebanon. I have talked to one of their drivers at a paper mill near atlanta and he seemed very happy with them. He did said he gets home most weekends living in Murfreesboro, and leaves the truck at the terminal on 840.

I always wondered how that name was pronounced... GOOgin,GAAgin or GOgin?
-
What in the heck are you talking about?? Maybe I'm missing something?

I believe this is the name of what the companies name use to be.

big g & goggin are two different companies owned by different people, although they are both headquartered in shelbyville.

If you are looking for a good company with good benefits that include medical benefits, you do
"NOT"
want to stop here!! You get sick before your one year anniversary and you are out of luck. They will cancel your health insurance before you get out of the hospital. They are always hiring drivers, always! Why?? I regret the day I ever signed on with them!
Praise GOD I did not have to stay any longer than I should have. Cancer looks good on the outside while it kills you on the inside!
