Indian River Transport, Co. - Winter Haven, FL.?

Thers no work . they dh my buddy out to McAllen from wh last week get there asap then sit for 4 days no pay as we know. Herd they have trucks left all over the place from drivers quiting! it is the slow time for them but i geuss its really bad this year.

 

here in sacramento, there is an ad in the sacramento Bee every week:

 

I have a buddy that still works there and he started running teams because solo miles were so low. I talked to him this morning and he is on his way back to winter haven from California. He says they will get around 7000 miles for the week. Just not sure its worth teaming.

 

I tried teaming once.....it lasted 2 weeks

 

I don't see the IRT trucks coming thru here as much either, most of the north bound stuff was headed for Canada best I knew..

We got smart and moved on for better pay and better miles . They have a lot of trucks sitting they have lot of ads out . I don't see Irt in bissiness for very much longer. They have new trucks they can't pay for or put people in them . They lost there pre pass cuz of there CSA scoring . Irt is hurting all the way around glad I jumped boat when I did .

 

Teaming with a smooth bore trailer ya gotta b on flipping drugs . At Irt cheap slave wages not even worth it .

LOL....when I road tested down there in Winter Haven a senior driver took myself and another guy out at the same time, I sat in the bunk when the other guy drove......wow, how would you get any rest ?!?

 

They didn't lose it to anybody . All I know is as of September or October they won't b there. Prolly cuz they have no work there more like it . Poor Pete just move so he was closer to work to .
