It's 7-10 days. Mine was 9 days. If you need more they'll keep you out longer, but really, I've been out for 5 months and still run into new things every now and then.
By the way OP, not sure what the set up is on 6/3. I work out of Gary and usually run 3-4 weeks out and 5 days home. -
At the base pay (CPM), I'm probably averaging around $600/week NET. $300-400 gross with the per diem adding up to the $600.
Should be getting an additional 4 cents/mile in a month. Hopefully I don't have to ##### about it to get it LOL. Sometimes they can get annoying when they don't pay detention. They pay if you complain but it's annoying to have to complain. Otherwise they almost always pay you what you're due. -
I will be working our of Columbus, OH, I am waiting on a call back from my recruiter(proly won't be till monday) but if I discover the 6/3 route is slip seat I am gonna see If I can switch to a non-slip seat position, even if that means being out 3-4 weeks and then 3-4 days off.
I have made my decision tho, I am going with Schneider. -
Good luck. At the very least it's a good starter company, at the very best it's a stable company with what appears to be a mostly stable freight base. -
Found out today from recruiter that this position is not slip seat, so all my questions have been answered, my recruiter has been great. I will hopefully graduate and get my cdl on Friday, so I hope to be at orientation on Monday or Wednesday of next week.

You can be out with your TE in as little as 7 days, I did. I also went to INDY, and you can read how my first year with them went here:

Although I am no longer driving, I left for a much better opportunity in a non driving field, I could not have been happier with any part of my time with SNI for the day I committed to the my very last day.
Good Luck!
Raid3rbonbonsron Thanks this. -
What is a slip seat position?
-
slip seat is basically sharing a truck with another driver, when you are on home time, someone else takes your truck, and vice versa.

Thanks Jakecat! Is it something nobody likes?
