[ A team of computer security consultants say they have found a flaw in Apple’s wildly popular iPhone that allows them to take control of the device.
The researchers, working for Independent Security Evaluators, a company that tests its clients’ computer security by hacking it, said that they could take control of iPhones through a WiFi connection or by tricking users into going to a Web site that contains malicious code. The hack, the first reported, allowed them to tap the wealth of personal information the phones contain. ]

Any computer or operating system can be hacked, and the iPhone is no exception. It's popularity will bring more attacks as each of those in turn is 'fixed'.

    Oh goody....

Another reason to stay with my current POS cell phone LOL

All I want.... is a simple blue tooth enabled cell phone that doesn't take a dump when I drop it once or twice....or lock up for some unknown reason, forcing me to take the battery out and restart.

Yea, I don't have to worry about an iPhone UNTIL AT&T loses the contract with Apple as I REFUSE to do business with crap companies like AT&T/Bellsouth, etc. Apple made a big boo-boo on this one.

I think its all crap! Apple blew the iphone out of proportions. Saying how cool it was. It is the same thing with CBS/ Katie Couric.

AT&T is worried from the news reports I heard...only so many have activated their iPhones with AT&T and their stock is dropping...good enough for them. People KNOW they are a crappy company!

I wouldn't have an apple iphone for the simple fact you have to take it into the shop to change the batter, and leave it with them or 2-3 days. I won't own a product that I can't change the battery in myself.
