Yeah, I heard things had boomed there. I've also been hearing about the rain in SK. We haven't had much moisture in Winnipeg at all.

We haven't? Where have you been looking? It's only stopped raining in the last 2 weeks or so. -
It's all local zoning, weight laws and neighborhood association by laws. Also who you've pi##ed off and the attitude of your local LEOs.
I bought my house from a friend for the sole reason that there is a vacant lot where I park my tractor directly across the street, the city owns and maintains it and there is a local ordinance against parking a vehicle on grass but is never enforced until someone complains.
A couple years ago I started getting tow off stickers on my tractor not too long after threatening a neighbors kid then the parents about him pointing a BB gun at my Pete. Finally a LEO caught me at home and told me that the only reason I was getting the notices on my truck was that someone was calling in to complain and he had to follow through on the calls...no big deal he was just doing his job. I just parked it in my driveway until they (renters) finally moved out.
Since then I'm back to parking on the grass and no one minds.
EDIT....I didn't notice this was the Canadian section, but I'm sure it works about the same up there. -
I've been looking in my yard. It's been a month since we've had any substantial moisture here. May was cool, but not really that wet unless you were near a river. All that river water is coming here from Saskatchewan though. They've been crazy wet there.
