I think requiring haz-mat is a good way companies can save money on background checks.

 

Well I was asking for when I was released from probation but I don't think it really makes a difference anyways.

 

i still think hazmat background checks are a joke......how is that going to stop somebody determined to use hazmat in a malicious way from doing it? it wouldnt

just like gun control laws......they are feel good laws......they might make people feel safer, but they dont do anything to actually make anybody safer in my opinion

 

Haz-mat requires a background check, fingerprinting, etc. It's pretty much the same kind of background check an employer will do, plus fingerprinting. So by requiring haz-mat, even if they don't haul haz-mat, it's like getting a free background check on potential recruits.

 

If I can be patient and wait about 3-4 years then I would have much better options, even be able to get Hazmat. I have a steady job so it's not like I am desperate yet, it just doesn't pay the greatest. Then again, Delivering pizza for Dominos I guess I'm lucky to make enough to survive. lol

 

Yeah, ... you do that. Be patient and wait til that #### falls off your record.

makes me think less of Dominoes that they are employing thieves

 

No this guy's felony is for arson. But I don't like Dominoes, Little Ceasars or any of that crap anyway. Only Pizza Hut, Godfathers, and this little mom & pop place near my house.

#### it, now I want Pizza but it's like 3AM here. So not only is he guilty of arson, he's making me hungry for pizza and all I got is a frozen Tombstone thing in the freezer.
