2 weeks notice

Well i hate to say it but im puttin in my two weeks come monday if things dont change. Im only gettin 10-15 hours in a week, cant make any kind of plans cuz they call me in at 5 make me work the outbound, wait till 7 to tell me u r on linehaul now. I do work another job as well which was fine by them, but i cant even make hours for that cuz when i do they flip on me. they even revoked my day off after granting it to me saying i will work the entire night but worked for a hour.

All in all i cannot live like this, they want me sitting home all day twiddling my thumbs till they call me in or hope they do, im 2 payments behind on my car which thankfully my father helped me out with, im goin back to my old jobs where i no wut i am doing and when.

special thx to jakebrake tho for answering all questions these few months, was hopin to c u out there man but looks like it wont happen.

 

I talked to more senoir guys, they said wen it was CCX it was a lot better and they only stay now cuz of senority, they all say if they were my age or didnt have the senoirity theyd leave. like i said im never able to work, and i cannot make n e kind of plans, im on the verge of being thrown out of my vol fd, and ie cancelled like 4 dates with this girl ive been hanging with(although she fully understood). Like i said i cannot even make plans on a weekend if i have to do linehaul last min like today, had to cancell everything for tonite/tomorrow. honestly im not just living to work, i still want to have my life. Im waiting to hear back from Old dominion, my fathers gf works there and shes tryin to get me in, but in the mean time i can do my odd jobs like i was before hand and still to this day, thats how ive been making my money, not the 10-15 hours a week i work.

newarks probly easier since the sector is a lot smaller than carlstadt, watch mr G he doesnt always keep his word! if i go wednesday to newark i will let u no and keep an eye out. thursday i cant do linehaul and we dont go to newburgh. conway overhired and theres no work for n e of us, i found out theres more quitting too(not from my place, other terminals i no from linehaul). Honestly if i had a set start time everyday i would stay but i cant even plan out my day, especially when they tell me friday call at 730, i do so they say no runs, im about to go out and at 8 they scream at me to get my @#$ there now. thats the second time that happened within a week.

im lookin into other companies, my fathers friend is tryin to get me into his place pull gas tankers but they r never hiring(jus my luck). well n e way how many people r in front of u for flex, for p/d i got 4 in front and for linehaul i got 2

 

yea maybe ur terminal is different than mine, ive been done with training about two months now. yea send me ur # in a pm, and ill give u a shout if i go to carlstadt or newark this week. i didnt even no newburgh was a FAC
