Are there any other non-training "starter" companies out there aside from Watkins & Shepard out there? I only ask because W/S doesn't hire out of Louisiana.![]()

Your best bet is to get out and go door to door.

6 weeks go quick. Trust me, there is alot to learn. Training is a foundation for your whole career. Plus you will be a very high danger the first 4 weeks. It's better to have someone watching over you.
BigRo Thanks this. -
When you get 500,000 miles you will begin to realize how dangerous you were those first 200,000 miles. You'd be well advised to seek the best training.
However since a CDL is a license to learn, nobody is going to put you in their truck solo out of school if that's where you're trying to go.BigRo Thanks this. -
Watkins & Shepard, I hear they will hire anybody that can fog a mirror.
