Today was a good/sad day

Update

The first week of orientation is over, just a few more days left. I passed all the driving test with no problems and got all the written test done early.

My mom lives in Spokane and came into town for a few hours on Saturday. It was good to see her, it had been about 2-3 years since I saw her last. We went out to lunch. We were planning on going to a park by the river after, but a good 'ol Montana thunder storm came rolling thru so we ended up at the mall. After she went back home I stayed up late watching all the videos.

Today I decided since the videos and test were all done I would take the hoopty malibu out and check out the area. Ended up heading over to Garnet. It is a ghost town from the 1860's. It was a very scenic trip and took a few pics while I was there.

It is back to class in the morning, should find out in a few days if they are going to hire me on. I am feeling pretty confident and have my fingers crossed.

 

Yeah, I knew you were here yesterday, Rick yelled at you out the class window. One of these days our paths will cross

The Hill was know where near as bad as I thought it was going to be, actually thought it was fun!

 

At the end of class today I was told to get the address and social security numbers for the beneficiaries for the life insurance. I am taking that as a good thing!

Every day for the last week and a half has been a long day, but yet it has flown by very fast. It is just a matter of days before I can join all of you on the road and I can't wait!!!

 

Hell yeah, Rick is a cool guy, great instructor as well, I have learned a lot from him as well.

I shoot in RAW format so it is not as simple as just downloading them off the memory card. Pain in the but at times, but worth the extra effort imo
