it could be the next day, it could be weeks, or you may never hear back from them. I wouldnt wait around for them, fill out all the apps you can, trucking isnt like any other career field, your not hired or committed just because you apply. As a new driver you wanna check out ALL your options. Picking your first company is VERY important in trucking, it can and WILL make or break you if you pick the wrong company for you.....

They should call you within 2 days. My experience is as a student out of school, it might be a bit different if your experienced, if no one gets back to you within that time I would call recruiting. if you dont get an interview on the phone then I would keep looking. Good Luck.

 

I put in my application and they called about 3 hours later. I am setting up Crowder College for November 2011 and then on to work for Con-way.... cannot wait to get started!

 

I had pretty much the same experience as everyone else. Filled it out online on a Saturday or Sunday and had a phone call first thing the following Monday morning. Scheduled for Crowder on Sept 26th. I can't wait!!!

 

Conway sux, filled out app, never called had to call them. Took them 5 weeks and finally they want me to work for them, not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8 yrs otr. Forget them

 

Read all you can about Swift. I was set to go with them first until I made sure I was good to go with Conway. You need experience so do your due dilligence on your research. Plenty of info on here to make an informed decission. Regardless Crowder is a good school. Good Luck.
