Hoosier Tradewinds MERGED

Hoosier Tradewinds does not have any Christian values. Their ICCMC # begins with 666--what does that tell you?

 

As far as Hoosier Tradewinds, most drivers do not get 2500 miles per week as the company advertises in Gears, Guts and Glory. When you get your weekly draw, your dispatcher can then approve an additional $50.00, but it will cost you a $2.50 administration fee and then you are charged between 5 and 10% of that fifty dollars. The load planners do give many short mile runs for the week-ends. Most drivers do not get home every week-end. Most of the home time is every other week-end. Also, you must read your contract very carefully. The D2Link is not trustworthy. It can work sometimes but not all the time and the company has gone to dispatching via d2Link. There is no more verbal dispatch with this company, and yes it is hard to reach your dispatcher. The majority of the dispatchers talk about the drivers. If it was not for the drivers, the dispatchers would not be sitting where they are today and the next either. Drivers, please do not sign on with this company. You will not be happy.

 

A d2Link is a nextel, two-way radio that is used to text with. It can also be used as a phone, but Tradewinds does not have that portion of the d2Link turned on. I think it sucks myself.
