    For anyone immigrating to US former education is reset to zero, all those "papers" don't count until you finish nostrification process. And even then nobody will care. Thats why it is questionable for people educated elsewhere to migrate to another country. Unless they are German rocket scientists - they were even given private islands here, just to come and work on mass murder weapons later used in various parts of the World.

    But if you are not into genocide (as I understand) you are not going to be recognized as educated, moreover - all the jobs available to you willl concentrate around New York or Chicago sweat shops with 7$ to start. But only if you have some true SKILLS i.e. you can fix that transmission you have been "educated" to hard about. If you do however, in few years you can have your own shop.

    Thats the beauty of immortal American Dream. Anything is possible even if you uneducated -as long as you are good at something

    the real skills help everywhere. when I fix unfixeble and expencive control units clients pay to me asking no qs about education and my diploma was newer shown after I got it!

    Those are rather sweeping statements.
    I have friends and family members that have been offered US citizenship solely on credentials and qualifications.
    Believe it or not,its not only corporate US but also US government that recruit skills across the globe.

    I suspect you were just generalizing to make a point.
    It is good to know of places where you can make it if you are good at something.

    many of young people from my country going to work outside as engineers some of them stay outside

    here we have pretty decent education and our workers will do lot of jobs which no one else will do or by lower price

    i know few guys working in china they work for 6months every day on power plant salary is from 3-6k $ depending on their profession and (automatization really most difficult course on faculty of electrical engineering)....

    i would like to ask you about your intelligence if you work and did not receive any salary for 3years which is very common here

    working here as engineer for 1000$ 8hour per day or working somewhere outside for 4-5-6 or sometimes even more k$ what will you chose?


    and even this 1000$ is good for our situation some people are in very bad situation and working for nothing

    In other words - they are educated but it doesn't help them find a job?
    Well, they apparently wasted someone else $ educating themselves for no reason.

    this is true here we have this case in most situation

    some guy become director of state company(his family members set him there or his friends) he stealing money from company dont pay workers and raw materials and energy company go in bankruptcy, he buy it from state for 0.2$ and make contract that he will again make this factory successful...after that he close factory fire all workers destruct factory and make building with flats shopping mall or something similar dont pay tax and run from government
    closing factories and opening shopping malls and closing malls half year later

    this is our main occupation for last 20years nothing left in state ........

    it is a problem of some ex-socialistic countries.

    and to many well educated people had to reeducate.

    in USSR institutes they trained us to design different things, and really many of us moved to USA to get job there.
