    Alcohol is legal, when used in a legal fashion NOT while driving a truck,

    Prozac and Xanax are also legal when prescribed by a doctor, but again.... not while driving a truck (as far as I know).

    I have seen PLENTY of "vitriol" anytime some driver or potential driver posts about using drugs illegally, or PRODUCING pharmaceuticals or narcotics illegally.

    Nothing different here. The two don't go together. I'm for legalization, but I won't use it. Just not my thing, and I don't think anyone should be driving a truck under the influence of ANYthing other than caffeine.

    I feel ya I was a smoker for 20yrs and a few times I quit for a year or more and am now been clean for 2 months I just took my drug test 3 days ago and I start school on Monday it was hard to quit for a few weeks but I got over it and don't even think about anymore I want a career thats why I quit but if your still smoking even 1 a day your screwed because they gave me a test before I even started school there is no beating a DOT Drug Test, I honestly think the should have a alcohol test every day as well since we can't smoke pot how many people die from drunk drivers a lot how many you hear were stoned none because most stoners act more responsiable than the dam drunks do and don't drive around while high.

    Wargames, i agree. This thread has gone on long enough. If he listened a bit better n stopped trying to argue around everyones points, it might be worth keeping. At this point its like beating a dead horse. Dogknot might have a point about a 'legal advice' section. Staff please get rid of this thread.

    This thread is nothing more than a joke to a professional driver.

    Anyone that thinks it gives good information to someone else, I hope never gets behind the wheel of ANY vehicle.

    I have had my fill of drugged drivers, yes pot, in accidents where innocents are injured. The same with alcohol.
